Another week, another wellness checkup. Ryan is up to 7 pounds, 13 ounces and a wiry 21 inches. Lucie weighs a robust 7 lbs, 3 ozs and 20.5 inches.The great migration from bottle-fed formula to breast-fed milk has slowed down their growth rate. As our pediatrician explained, most parents overfeed newborns using a bottle, but the twins are able to regulate the amount (and still be fully satisfied -- see post-feeding photo). They should gain about half a pound per week for the next month or so.
