On the recommendation of several friends, we bought a copy of the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD. It took almost a week to find the time to watch, but after a single viewing tonight, I don't think it is an exageration to day that the video will change our lives.Swaddle, Side, Shush, Swing, Suck is our new mantra. Even without a fancy mechanical swing or white noise-maker, both Lucie and Ryan fell into deep sleeps after our first attempt. We've received a lot of thoughtful baby gifts, but this DVD is now at the top of our lists.
Of course, we aim to have the two happiest babies on the block...
